What kind of book is Guanzi?
Guanzi is one of the ancient academic classics in China. Guanzi is an encyclopedic masterpiece of pre-Qin philosophers and a collection of essays by Guan Zhong. It's not a disposable pen, nor is it a family statement. The content is complex, involving politics, economy, law, military, philosophy, ethics and so on. The writing age probably began in the middle of the Warring States Period and lasted until the Qin and Han Dynasties. Among them, the chapter on legalists mainly comes from the legalists of Qi in the middle and late Warring States period. Law and the Rule of Law is an important work in the study of pre-Qin legal thought, which integrates the three thoughts of legalism, technology and power in the early stage and combines the characteristics of Taoism and Confucianism into its own system.
