I. References
Reference refers to other documents and materials cited in academic papers, reports, books and other works, so that readers can consult and understand the relevant content. References usually include books, periodicals, conference papers, newspapers, web pages and other different types of documents, which can be the author's own research results or others' research results.
In academic writing, reference is a very important part, which can reflect the author's respect and recognition of previous research results, and can also provide readers with more reference materials and information. When citing references, it is necessary to typeset and arrange them according to certain formats and specifications, and usually adopt internationally accepted citation formats such as APA, MLA and Chicago to ensure the accuracy and standardization of citation.
Second, how to use references correctly
1. Since it is quoted, I won't comment. Some articles are wrongly quoted, and some quotation formats are very incorrect, which will lead to errors in the content of the articles. We can't change the quoted content at will in order to prove our own point of view, nor can we make great changes to the sentence pattern of the original content when quoting, and add a lot of our own points of view to the content, and then put them in the quoted position, so we can't quote.
2. Don't distort the quoted content. The content we quoted must belong to the original author, and cannot be modified and distorted too much. In fact, it is understandable that an argument will be used by many people, but we should do what the original author did, not distort the original author's point of view, but also restore it.
3. It is not allowed to add or subtract at will. If you think that you have quoted a lot or that the content is not enough to prove your point of view, you are not allowed to add or subtract at will. It is unacceptable to add or subtract many things and then go back to the quoted position and still use them as the quoted content.
