[Abstract]
The development process of magnesia dry ramming material for tundish working layer for electric furnace steelmaking is introduced. The influence of the amount of binder and various additives on the comprehensive index of dry ramming material is discussed. In addition, the application of dry ramming material in tundish construction, baking and use is also introduced. The test shows that the developed tundish ramming material has the advantages of convenient construction, long service life (the actual service time of tundish is more than 48 hours), non-stick and non-collision.
