With the development of civil aviation in China, the Civil Aviation Institute of China keeps advancing, and has trained more than 30,000 talents for civil aviation and society, accounting for about one-sixth of the total number of civil aviation employees in China, one-third of engineering and management talents and more than half of professional and technical personnel. A large number of graduates have become the backbone of technical business, many of them have taken up leadership positions at all levels, and the graduates are all over the world, which is known as the "cradle of civil aviation talents in China".
The school has implemented the "Top Five" teaching plan, educational technology modernization project, innovative talent training system and education and teaching quality assurance system. Facing the 2 1 century, it has trained senior engineering management talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence and physique, profound theoretical knowledge, strong application and development ability, rigorous work style and good cooperation spirit. The quality of education is constantly improving, the level of personnel training is becoming more and more reasonable, and the scale of running schools is constantly expanding. The school has 13 secondary colleges, namely, mechanical and electrical engineering college, air traffic management college, management college, science college, traffic engineering college, computer science and technology college, safety science and engineering college, humanities and social sciences college, continuing education college, vocational and technical college, crew college, international technology college, education college, a sports department and a basic teaching experiment center. At present, there are seven master's programs, including communication and information system, navigation, guidance and control, computer application technology, traffic planning and management, aerospace propulsion theory and engineering, aircraft design and enterprise management, and two international cooperation postgraduate training programs, namely aviation safety management (Sino-French cooperation) and aviation MBA (China-Australia cooperation). There are 23 undergraduate majors, 15 higher vocational majors and a number of continuing education majors in civil aviation, covering all application and technical fields of civil aviation. There are more than 200 graduate students, more than 7,000 undergraduates, more than 2,000 higher vocational students and nearly 2,000 adult education students, which basically forms a multi-disciplinary, multi-level and multi-form school-running pattern.
The school has more than 0/000 teaching staff/kloc, including more than 500 full-time teachers. After years of construction and training, we now have a team of teachers with sufficient quantity, excellent quality, reasonable structure, strong adaptability, relative stability and vitality, more than 230 teachers with doctoral and master's degrees and more than 220 teachers with senior titles. Every year, nearly110 teachers go to various civil aviation developed countries to study and inspect. The Chinese members of the expert group of the ICAO Professional Committee are basically from the Civil Aviation Institute. A group of young and middle-aged reserve discipline leaders and outstanding young and middle-aged backbone teachers stand out, and some teachers have become civil aviation technical experts and famous scholars in China.
The school pays attention to the dual role of scientific research in serving economic and social development and improving teaching quality. It has three research bases, including aviation ground special equipment, air traffic management, air transportation economics and management science, and is jointly applying for aviation maintenance engineering and airport engineering with civil aviation enterprises and institutions, focusing on six research bases, including civil aviation maintenance engineering, airport engineering, software development, aviation safety, communication and information processing, and humanities and social sciences. The 12 research institute basically covers all disciplines in the school, and has made remarkable achievements in a series of important topics, such as aviation safety research, aircraft selection, aircraft and engine fault diagnosis and analysis, air traffic flow management, economic benefits of aviation enterprises, civil aviation transportation management, information engineering, computer application and so on. In recent years, it has won 93 scientific research achievement awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level. In recent five years, the growth rate of scientific research funds is 154%, and the growth rate of scientific research projects is 78%. He has published more than 260 academic papers/kloc-0 and more than 60 scientific and technological works. The school has two academic journals, Journal of Civil Aviation Institute of China and Civil Aviation Education.
The school has advanced teaching equipment, including 4 teaching and research laboratories with a value of more than RMB 1000 million and 8 comprehensive teaching laboratories 18, reaching the advanced level at home and abroad. There are 19 trainee aircraft, more than 30 types of aircraft engines and special equipment.
The school library is a comprehensive modern library featuring civil aviation science and technology documents, and it is equipped with special Boeing and Airbus aircraft books and materials collection room. The library implements networked and intelligent management, searches the first-class site of China Academic Journal Network, and builds four databases, namely mirror site of China Academic Journal Network and Wan Fang data, which are basically digitized.
The school undertakes the main tasks of civil aviation adult education and continuing education. There are six international and domestic training centers, which can train maintenance licenses according to the technical specifications of CAAC and FAA. Civil aviation maintenance personnel qualification training examination management center undertakes the examination and management of civil aviation maintenance licenses. IATA authorized the school to be a training unit for international passenger and freight transportation and dangerous goods transportation. The Civil Aviation Administration approved the school to have the training qualifications of air traffic controllers, passenger and cargo agents and aircrew, the training qualifications of various models and engines and the license examination qualifications, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security approved the school to have the training qualification of national secretary certificate.
The school actively strengthens foreign exchanges and cooperation, with ICAO, IATA, EU Industry Committee, US Federal Aviation Administration, European Union Aviation Administration and other organizations, with Boeing Company and Pratt & Whitney Engine Company? Romania, Airbus Europe and other internationally renowned airlines have established extensive exchanges and cooperation with civil aviation universities and scientific research institutions in Britain, the United States, France, Russia, Australia and other countries, and academic exchanges with international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions have become increasingly frequent. The Civil Aviation Institute of China is a full member of ICAO's first aviation training program in China.
