He is currently the vice president of Heping Hospital affiliated to Changzhi Medical College, the director of general surgery, the chairman of the surgical branch of Shanxi Medical Association, and the chairman of the surgical professional committee of Changzhi City. He is a young and middle-aged surgical discipline leader in Changzhi Medical College.

The professional research direction is clinical and experimental research of digestive tract tumor metastasis, and he has deep attainments in digestive tract tumor research. As the leader of general surgery, he took the lead in developing domestic advanced technologies such as intravenous hypernutrition, choledochoscopy, complex biliary tract plasty, comprehensive treatment after breast cancer surgery, intraperitoneal perfusion chemotherapy, etc. Many technologies filled the gaps in Changzhi area. The surgical treatment of gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, colorectal cancer and other tumors has reached the advanced level in China.
