Therefore, the thinker cannot be understood as a negative and gloomy image. He has the hands to transform the world and is full of energy. When people appreciate The Thinker, they will naturally think of the oppressed and humiliated but powerful proletarians in contemporary times.

5. 1905, Lenin told two representatives of the third congress of the Russian Social Democratic Party that when he returned to Paris from London, he "must have a look at Rodin's The Thinker". Lenin hoped that Russian proletarian soldiers would draw courage and strength from this sculpture.
