In terms of scientific research, seven scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level have been completed, including the national key breeding project-research on new varieties of low-phenol cotton, two major scientific and technological projects in Hebei Province-new varieties of cotton with high yield, high quality and disease resistance and new varieties of cotton with high yield and low phenol and insect resistance, key projects of Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province, key scientific research plan of Ministry of Education and national fund project for returned overseas students-China disease-resistant cotton DNA. Four cotton varieties ―― Jimian 19 (low-phenol cotton), Jimian No.26, Nongda 94-7 and hybrid cotton Nongda No.6 were bred. Won the second prize of 1 and the third prize of Hebei province. He has published more than 90 papers in core scientific journals and international conferences at home and abroad. At present, he has presided over a number of national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, including the Tenth Five-Year "High-yield Grain Science and Technology Project" 1, a sub-project of the National 973 Plan 1, a preliminary research project of major national basic research 1, and an agricultural scientific and technological achievements transformation fund project of the Ministry of Science and Technology 1.
