Where is Xialu Temple?
Xialu Temple is a famous scenic spot in Xigaze cultural landscape.

The simplicity and purity of Xialu Temple is a remarkable feature that distinguishes this ancient temple from the major temples of the Yellow Sect. Xialu Temple was founded in 1084. This building has a strong Yuan Dynasty style, and the walls and courtyards of the temple are all in the traditional Tibetan style. This kind of Chinese-Tibetan architecture is easily reminiscent of the cultural exchange between China and Tibet at that time.

The statue of Siddhartha Gautama and eight disciples is enshrined in the Hall of Mahatma on the ground floor, and the Buddhist scriptures Ganzhuer and Danzhuer are enshrined in the halls on both sides. The second floor is a Chinese quadrangle building. The front hall is dedicated to statues of Sakyamuni and Buton Renqinzhu, and the left and right halls are equipped with Changtan City Hall. The front hall is dedicated to Buddha statues and sixteen arhats. Because the murals are very old, they have high appreciation value.
