Niu Jianming is a professor at the School of Life Sciences, Inner Mongolia University.
Niu Jianming, male, born in September, 1964, Ph.D., researcher. Doctoral supervisor. "Cross-century academic leader" of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, winner of the Excellence Award of the 6th Inner Mongolia Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, winner of Inner Mongolia Grassland Talents (20 1 1) and Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award (20 12). He used to be a member of the Fifth Agricultural Remote Sensing Professional Committee of China Agricultural Engineering Society and the Ecological Professional Committee of China Grassland Society. He is currently a director of China Ecological Society, a director of China Natural Resources Society, an executive director of Inner Mongolia Ecological Society and a vice chairman of Inner Mongolia Geographical Society. Around the application of vegetation ecology and grassland remote sensing, GIS and GPS, the research work has been carried out for many years in the relationship between vegetation and environment, the impact of climate change on grassland ecosystem, land use/land cover change, biodiversity and so on. He won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1 and the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Agriculture 1, published more than 60 papers, participated in editing 7 works, and participated in compiling 3 officially published thematic maps1(sets).

In teaching, he lectured on Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System, a core course for undergraduate majors (bilingual, excellent course at school level), Principles and Applications of 3S Technology, an elective course for undergraduate majors, and Conservation Biology. Professor Zeng has resumed undergraduate elective courses such as ecology, ecological engineering and professional English.
