Professional code 08300 1 professional name environmental science
Professional introduction:
The discipline of environmental science in Tongji University has the State Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Resources Research (established in 1989), the National Engineering Research Center of Urban Pollution Control (established in 1995), and the United Nations Environment Programme-Tongji University School of Environment and Sustainable Development, which was established in 2002. Tongji University is the dominant discipline with key development, and it is the national "265438".
198 1 Tongji university awarded the first master's degree in environmental engineering, 1984 awarded the first doctor's degree, 1985 awarded the first postdoctoral mobile station, and 1999 awarded the doctor's degree in environmental science and engineering.
This subject is an interdisciplinary subject of science and engineering. Aiming at the problems of environmental pollution and ecological destruction in China and the important demand of social and economic sustainable development, this paper focuses on the migration and transformation law of pollutants in the environment, the harm and mechanism of pollutants to the ecological environment and human health, the methods and principles of pollutant treatment and control, the harmonious survival between man and nature, environmental management and planning, environmental impact assessment and environmental economy.
Environmental science professor 12, associate professor 10, doctoral supervisor 10. And there are many well-known scholars at home and abroad as part-time professors.
From 200 1 to 2006, this discipline has presided over 65 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. He has published more than 270 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 80 Chinese core journals/kloc-0 and more than 60 foreign journals. Published monographs and teaching materials 10. Won 8 national and provincial awards, and the research results have international and domestic academic influence.
The future goal of this discipline is to establish an internationally renowned environmental science talent training and scientific research base. Through the implementation of key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, general projects, the national "Eleventh Five-Year" science and technology support plan, the "863" high-tech plan, international cooperation and other major projects, it provides theory and leading technology for urban environmental protection and social and economic sustainable development. Especially in the fields of advanced detection technology of pollutants, ecological restoration technology of polluted environment, research on water treatment chemicals, water quality safety and ecological environment evolution in the Yangtze River basin, ecological toxicology and ecological risk, modern molecular biotechnology, environmental management and sustainable development theory, etc., the project cooperation will promote the integration of relevant disciplines in the school and improve the overall level of disciplines.
In the cultivation of high-level talents for doctoral and postdoctoral students, this discipline has cultivated high-level professionals with a solid theoretical foundation of environmental science, a deep understanding of regional and global environmental issues, and the ability to engage in environmental science research, environmental management and solve environmental problems by strengthening teaching, laboratory construction, 985 platform construction, curriculum reform and the application of advanced teaching methods.
