Barack Hussein Obama,Sr., a Romanian, traveled extensively when he was young. He joined the British colonial army and went to Europe, India and Zanzibar. There, Onyango converted from Roman Catholicism to Islam and changed his name to Hussein. In Nairobi, he became a missionary chef and a local herbalist. Studied at the University of Hawaii and Harvard University. After returning to China, he became an economic adviser to the Ministry of Transport and a senior economic adviser to the Ministry of Finance. During this period, Obama published an article criticizing the government's planned economic policy. In the struggle with President jomo kenyatta, he failed to quit politics. 1982, he died in a car accident in Nairobi.
