Is there really a Fang Shiyu in history?
Fang Shiyu was born in 1739 (Qianlong four years). His ancestral home is Zhaoqing, Guangdong. His father, Fang De, was a silk merchant. He was born to Fang De and his second wife, Miao Cuihua. There are two brothers, Fang Meiyu, born to his first wife, Li, who died very early.

Life of the character:

The Qing court ordered the burning of South Shaolin Temple in Fujian. Later, Miao Xian (one of the five elders of Shaolin) lived incognito, selling salt for a living and leading a wandering life. Miao Cuihua, Miao Xian's daughter, has been a bodyguard in the Jianghu. She has the title of "Woman of the Generation". On one occasion, Fang was robbed on the road and was saved by Miao Cuihua. After chatting, I found that both of them are Shaolin disciples and like-minded. At the age of 60, Fang has to continue to marry Miao Cuihua, who is 16 years old. The following year, Miao Cuihua gave birth to Fang Shiyu.

Miao Cuihua learned a good martial arts from her father and followed his father's instruction. Since the full moon, Fang Shiyu has been washed by Miao Cuihua with iron vinegar, wrapped with bamboo boards, sticks and iron bars, and exercised repeatedly, so that Fang Shiyu's muscles and joints are very strong and can withstand punching and kicking. At the age of 3, Fang Shiyu wore an iron hat and copper boots to practice jumping. At the age of 5, he began to learn Zama; At the age of 6, he began to learn boxing; I began to learn piles at the age of 7. At the age of 1 1, Fang Shiyu knew all kinds of martial arts, especially Shaolin boxing.

According to historical records, Fang Shiyu was strong-willed, wandering in the countryside since he was a child, and liked to fight with other children. As a teenager, Fang Shiyu was sent to Shaolin School by his father Fang De. Although he is short and fat, he is brave to fight. Every time he fought, he charged ahead. Both brothers were inevitably injured in the fight, but only Fang Shiyu was safe and sound.

Among them, Fang Shiyu ranked second, not only because of his high martial arts, but also because of his brave nature.

When Fang Shiyu 14 years old, he went to Hangzhou to do business with his father. On the way, he saw Lei Laohu in a circle, with couplets on both sides that read "Punch Guangdong and kick Suzhou and Hangzhou". Fang Shiyu was furious and went on stage to kill Lei Laohu. Lei Laohu is the son-in-law of Wu Tangmen Li Bashan, and Li Bashan is the bodyguard of Chen Wenyao, a great scholar in Wenyuange. Lei Laohu relies on the situation everywhere. Fang Shiyu killed Lei Laohu, which led to a fierce struggle between Shaolin School and Wu Tang School.

After Fang Shiyu killed Lei Laohu, he informed his father, and the father and son fled back to Guangzhou overnight, and called members of Shaolin Sect to discuss countermeasures. Lei Laohu's wife, Li Xiaohuan, led Wu Tangmen's disciples to Guangdong and vowed to avenge Lei Laohu. At that time, the Shaolin Sect was already ready, headed by the "Shaolin Ten Tigers" to divide the territory around Guangzhou. Hong Xiguan and Fang Shiyu openly accepted disciples in Guangzhou (now near Haizhu Square) to fight the Wu Tang Sect.

Hu, who was originally in mourning in his hometown, returned to Guangzhou from his hometown overnight after hearing the news, erected the banner of revenge for his father, fought with the troops in Xiguan computer room, killed Feng Daode (one of the five old Shaolin monks) and occupied Xichan Temple with Sande monks. This news shocked the whole Wutangmen. People from Wutangmen gathered in Guangzhou for Xichan Temple, and launched the first large-scale gang war with Shaolin Sect in the history of Guangdong gangs, which caused a storm in the city.

Li Xiaohuan's father, Li Bashan, was the master of Wu Tangzong and the bodyguard of Chen Wenyao, a scholar of Wenyuange in Qing Dynasty. In the name of the government, he gathered thousands of Qing soldiers to March into Guangzhou. In name, he suppressed the gang's conflagration, but in fact, he assisted the Wu Tang gang in attacking Shaolin. 1763 (in the 28th year of Qianlong), the monk Hu and Sande died in Xichan Temple, and Tong Qianjin was also killed by Wu Tangmen in the subsequent fire. After this battle, the backbone of the Shaolin School was almost exhausted, and Fang Shiyu died at the age of 24.
