Detailed introduction of 985:
The "985 Project" was decided by the Ministry of Education of China to support some institutions of higher learning such as Qi Jing University and Tsinghua University to establish world-class universities and high-level universities in the implementation of the education revitalization action plan oriented to 2 1 century. Because it was put forward by/kloc-0 in May, 1998, it was named Project 985.
The first phase of the 985 project is mainly used for hardware construction, the second phase is mainly used for software, that is, scientific research platform construction, and the third phase is mainly used for the introduction of disciplines and high-level talents. At the same time, the service consciousness of co-constructing colleges and universities has been further enhanced.
