Lu Sheng's Historical Legend
Speaking of Qin Shihuang's brutal rule, two things will be cited: building the Great Wall and burying Confucianism. And these two things are all people named Lu Sheng.

Lu Sheng was an alchemist who helped Qin Shihuang travel overseas to seek the elixir of life. On one occasion, Lu Sheng came back from overseas and brought back a Book of Records of the Historian, which he called a book of divination. The Book of Divination is an ancient book that predicts what will happen in the future. The book says: "Those who destroyed Qin were also Hu Ye." At first glance, Qin Shihuang thought that the greatest threat to Qin was the northern conference semifinals, so because of the terrain, he ordered general Meng Tian to lead 300,000 troops to attack the Xiongnu in the north and build the Great Wall. The cause of the pit Confucianism was that Lu Sheng mocked Qin Shihuang privately and ran away. When Qin Shihuang knew this, he was furious: "Lu Sheng, I treated him so well, but he slandered me. Anyone born in Xianyang will be interrogated and asked if they are members of the same party. " After the trial, 463 scholars pleaded guilty and "all cheated". Since then, these two incidents have become evidence of Qin Shihuang's brutal rule and have been reviled through the ages.

Qin Shihuang was infatuated with the immortal Immortal Technique and believed in fate. Some strange pedantic adulterers, such as Lu Sheng, Han Zhong, Xu Fu and Hou Sheng, all defected to the Qin Dynasty. Xu Fu (also known as Xu's), a native of Langya (now near Zhucheng in Jiaonan, Shandong Province), wrote to Qin Shihuang, claiming that there are three sacred mountains in the sea. Qin Shihuang believed it, and sent him to lead 3,000 boys and girls to the sea by boat to seek the immortal mountain. After that, he didn't know where to go. Maybe he was shipwrecked or drifted to an island to settle down. The latter is more likely. According to folklore, he went to Japan.
