Resume of Princess Wan 'an
Princess Wan 'an (? —? ), female of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, whose mother is unknown. In the fourth year of Kaiyuan (7 16), on May 20th, Zong Rui collapsed in Baifutang. On 25th, Wan 'an pursued happiness for Zong Rui as a female Taoist. Probably from then on, Wan 'an became a female Taoist (The Princess Biography may say that "being a Taoist in Tianbao" is wrong), but at first she lived in the palace until the seventh year of Tianbao (748), when she left Jin Xian Temple, and at the same time gave 1000 real seals, and the handmaiden attendants were still rationed according to the princess's standards. After the Anshi Rebellion, Xuanzong abdicated as emperor, which was equivalent to half imprisonment. Only Princess Wan 'an and Princess Chu were allowed to enter the palace to take care of Xuanzong's daily life.
