Zhu Xun and Wang Zhi used to be CCTV colleagues and both were CCTV hosts. Wang Zhi is nine years older than Zhu Xun. They met at work and got married in 2004. After marriage, they gave birth to a son named Wang Fa.
Wang Zhi graduated from Chinese Department of Hunan Normal University, 1986. From 1994, he joined CCTV as the reporter and host of "The Son of the East" and later presided over "News Investigation". In 2003, Wang Zhi was the producer, host and reporter of Face to Face. From June 5th, 2008 to October, 2008, Wang Zhi was sent to work in Lijiang River. After leaving office, he was appointed as the vice chairman of China Red Cross Foundation. On August 20 12, Wang Zhi left the Red Foundation and was transferred to China Communication University as an assistant to the president. Since then, Wang Zhi has rarely appeared in public.
