Under the leadership of the school committee, in September, 2002, the teaching and research section of Comrade Song Jun took the lead in systematically organizing and opening undergraduate courses of e-government in national party schools and administrative colleges. Up to now, 13 course has been offered, with 726 trainees and 628 graduates. These graduates have played an active role in different jobs and made contributions to e-government in our province. The establishment of e-government specialty conforms to the demand of government departments for compound talents in the information age, and e-government has become the most vital emerging professional discipline in party schools and administrative colleges.

Comrade Song Jun also contributed to the informatization construction of the Party School of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Shanxi Administration College. From 2003 to 2005, he planned, designed and presided over the construction of the websites and campus computer networks of the Party School of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Shanxi Administration College, which laid a good foundation for the informatization development of provincial schools and colleges.
