Zhang Xiangda, 1965, born in July, Chifeng City, professor of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, doctor of economics, doctoral supervisor, cross-century academic leader of the Ministry of Finance. Currently, he is the Dean of School of Public Administration of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, the evaluation expert of China Project Department of the World Bank, and the evaluation expert of energy conservation and emission reduction projects of Economic Construction Department of the Ministry of Finance. Mainly engaged in national economy, social security, industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, economic and administrative management. He has undertaken more than one project 10 of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Information Industry and the Ministry of Education, such as the research on the development of electronic industry in South Korea, the research on the reform and development of higher education in China after China's entry into WTO, and the research on the issuance and management of educational lottery tickets in China, and has published more than 20 academic papers in domestic authoritative journals such as Guangming Daily (theoretical edition) and Financial Research. In June 2007, he paid an academic visit to Oxford University.
The School of Public Administration of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics was established in 1999, relying on the majors of national economic management, urban economy and business administration invested by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. The establishment of the School of Public Administration not only marks that the development of management discipline in our school has entered a brand-new stage, but also responds quickly to the social demand for public management talents in the national economic and political system reform, and opens up the space for the development of the school.
At present, the School of Public Administration has a postdoctoral mobile station for the first-level discipline of public administration, a doctoral program for the first-level discipline of public administration and two doctoral programs, which belong to the first-level discipline of applied economics. There are seven master's majors in regional economics, national economics, administrative management, social security, educational economy and management, land resources management and sociology, and four undergraduate majors in administrative management, public utilities management, labor and social security and sociology. Among them, regional economics, national economics, administrative management and social security science have entered the ranks of key disciplines in Liaoning Province; Administration and social security were selected as the construction projects of characteristic disciplines in Liaoning Province.
