1, Song Yue Temple Tower
Song Yue Temple Tower is the earliest existing brick tower in China. It is located in Song Yue Temple at the southern foot of Taishi Mountain, about 6 kilometers northwest of Dengfeng County, Henan Province. It was built in the year of Xiaoming Zheng Guangyuan in the Northern Wei Dynasty (520) and has a history of 1470 years.
The tower of Song Yue Temple is made of mud bricks, with dense eaves and white plaster. It is the oldest existing polygonal brick tower with dense eaves in China.
2. Chihiro Tower
There are ancient pagodas everywhere in China, but few of them stand together. The three pagodas in Dali are famous for this.
The Three Pagodas in Dali are located at the seaside in the western suburbs of Dali. They were originally part of Chongsheng Temple. Now the temple has disappeared, but the pagoda still stands as before. 1925, a major earthquake occurred in Dali area, and almost all the houses inside and outside the city collapsed, but the three towers only 1 huali away from Dali city were safe and sound.
3. Sagata
China Liao Dynasty high-rise wooden stupa. In the Buddhist temple in the northwest corner of Yingxian County, Shanxi Province. Named after the tower dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha. Because the tower body is all wooden components, it is commonly known as Yingxian wooden tower.
Fodian Temple was built in Liao Dynasty and rebuilt in past dynasties. The existing archway, bell and drum tower, Ursa major hall and attached hall were all rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but Sakya Tower, which was built in the second year of Qing Ning in Liao Dynasty (1056), stood tall and unique, and the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1 1 ~ 65438+) lasted for two to six years.
4. Hong Fei Tower
Hong Fei Tower is located in Guangsheng Shangsi, which is located at the north17km of Hongtong County. The tower body is inlaid with glass, commonly known as glass tower. Glass is a mineral material. The whole body is a painted pottery vessel with a layer of glaze on the surface of ceramic (crucible soil) components such as pipe tile, slab tile and ridge, and then put it into a ceramic kiln to burn a layer of exquisite glaze, making it an integral whole. Glaze on the surface of pottery has the advantages of wear resistance, firmness, hardness and beauty. It is a component material of national buildings in China.

Song Yue Temple Pagoda is also the only ancient pagoda with a dodecagon plane, which has an extremely lofty position in the architectural history of China.
In 1930s, Liu Dunzhen, a famous architect, said in Notes on the Investigation of Ancient Buildings in Northern Henan: "The square pagodas in the later Tang Dynasty, such as Little Wild Goose Pagoda and Ji Xiang Temple Pagoda, were all born from this ..."
After the founding of New China, Liang Sicheng, a famous architect, made a list of cultural relics that must be protected. According to the importance, Liang Sicheng marked five circles, four circles, three circles in front of it ... and turned five circles in front of Song Yue Temple Tower.
