The Official History of Cai E records that General Cai E has a wife and a concubine. Don't believe the myth that General Cai E's wife Liu Xiazhen and my concubine Pan Huiying have a good relationship. Their relationship is not good at all. After Cai E's death, Liu Xiazhen lived with Cai E's mother atNo. 1 Zhangshu Garden in Tianetang, Changsha, Hunan, while Pan Huiying lived in Kunming. Even Tang Dou didn't know that Pan Huiying was Cai E's concubine. When Cai E was a child, his family was poor, but he was very clever, so he attracted the attention of local clans in Shaoyang very early. Cai E has long been taken a fancy to by Liu of Wugang. Cai E's real father-in-law, Liu Lige, was a student of the Qing Dynasty, but unfortunately died young. His wife, Liu Xiazhen, was attached to his uncle Liu Huige. Originally, Liu Huige wanted to marry his daughter to Cai E, so he funded Cai E to study in Japan. Studying in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty was cheaper than studying in Europe and America, but it was not always possible to study abroad casually. Supporting a student studying in Japan in those days is no less than supporting a student studying in the United States today. Today, an international student almost spends1.6-20,000 RMB. It's just that Cai E is very lucky. He initially returned to China to take part in the uprising of Tang Zili Army, but failed. He ran back to Japan (all with Liu's money) and changed his name to Cai E to study military affairs. As a result, he graduated just in time for the reform in the late Qing Dynasty and reused overseas students. He suddenly became an intermediate general when he graduated from an ordinary Japanese NCO school (supervised by Jiangxi Army Academy and assisted by Hunan Coach Office) in the late Qing Dynasty. Cai E was reused by the Qing court, and the Liu family was naturally happy. But at this time, Liu Huige's daughter is seven years older than Cai E. If she marries Cai E, it's really a benefactor who becomes an enemy, so Liu Huige marries her brother's daughter Liu Xiazhen to Cai E. It's hard to say how much Cai E likes Liu Xiazhen, because it's like Cai E is completing a "contract", and judging from the fact that Liu Xiazhen has lived with Cai's mother in Hunan for a long time, Cai E's attitude towards Liu Xiazhen is probably better than that of Lu Xun towards Juan. (Mr. and Mrs. Cai E) Cai E's concubine room is Pan Huiying. Although many materials say that Pan Huiying is a scholarly family, Pan Tingquan, his father, is only a tribute student in the late Qing Dynasty and can only be said to be a middle-class family. And from Cai E's close comrade-in-arms Tang didn't know that Pan Huiying was Cai E's concubine room for a long time, Cai E was probably proud and didn't want others to know that he had married a concubine, so he never introduced Pan Huiying to the outside world, so that everyone knew that Cai E had a concubine, but he didn't know who this concubine room was. Pan Huiying was married when Cai E was in Yunnan, and Liu Xiazhen and Pan Huiying lived together while working in Cai E. Judging from the current information, there is no intersection between the two after they left Beijing. After Cai E left Beijing, Liu Xiazhen and Cai E's mother returned to Changsha, Hunan, while Pan Huiying followed Cai E back to Yunnan. During this period, Pan Huiying gave birth to two sons to Cai E, and Liu Xiazhen only gave birth to a daughter Cai Julien to Cai E. However, Cai E gave Cai Duan to Liu Xiazhen for support, and Cai Duan was later able to enter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Maybe his brother-in-law Shi Chaobai also helped. General Cai E compared love rat in his private life because Cai E lived with my concubine Pan Huiying for a long time and neglected his wife Liu Xiazhen. After Cai E left Beijing, she never saw Liu Xiazhen again. It is Pan Huiying who really accompanies Cai E, but you can say that Cai E loves Pan Huiying much, because Cai E hardly lets Pan Huiying appear in social occasions. Even Tang Dou didn't know that Cai E's concubine room was called Pan Huiying for a long time. After the death of General Pan Huiying and Cai E, Liu Xiazhen and Cai Mu lived in Changsha. Cai, the only daughter, married Shi Chaobai, the son of Cai E's good friend Shi. Shi Chaobai graduated from Imperial University in Kyoto, Japan, and entered the diplomatic circle because of Shi's face (Shi lived in the German embassy for more than a year). He has served as attache secretary of German legation, consul of consulates in France and Puerto Rico, secretary of Swedish legation, acting minister, toilet secretary in Japan, and full consul of William Steinbach Museum in West India. Cai and Shi Chaobai moved from 65438 to the United States in 0957. Pan Huiying has lived in Kunming since the death of 19 16 Cai E, and has never seen Liu Xiazhen again. However, in 1923, the gentry in Kunming suddenly asked the province to commend Pan Huiying in the name of "cutting the meat to save the mother" many years ago. I find it hard to believe that this is the spontaneous behavior of the gentry, because it makes no sense, and it happened not in Kunming, but in Jinning. I guess this is probably because Ms. Pan wants to remind Tang not to forget that the descendants of Cai E and Cai E still live in Kunming. After that, Ms. Pan's whereabouts were rather strange. 1932 during the Shanghai 28 incident, Ms. Pan was still an experiencer. She was living in Jiangwan at that time, and as a result, she lost the family book that Cai E gave her in a hurry. There is a saying that Ms. Pan has lived in Hangzhou since then until Hangzhou became an enemy-occupied area during the Anti-Japanese War. Ms. Pan's family of four returned to Kunming from Hangzhou, and Cai E and Ms. Pan were at 1942. But this passage is too strange, because Cai Yongning, the second son who has been living beside Ms. Pan, graduated from the private Fu Jen Catholic University in Beijing. After graduation, he joined Yunnan Dianfu Bank, founded by his father Cai E, with the highest position as deputy general manager. My son is studying in Beijing and working in Kunming. Why does Ms. Pan want to live in Shanghai and Hangzhou? I don't understand. To sum up, in the official history, General Cai E had wives and concubines. His wife is Liu Xiazhen from Wugang, Hunan, and his concubine is Pan Huiying from Jinning, Yunnan. They haven't met since Cai E left Beijing. Liu Xiazhen has been living with Cai's mother in Changsha, Hunan, while Pan Huiying lives in Kunming, Shanghai (doubtful), Hangzhou (doubtful) and Beijing.
