Shandong Bangzi Opera was originally adapted from Shandong Ballad by an old Shandong artist, Mr. Lv Shengkui, and mixed with other stories. Later, it was transplanted by Henan Opera, Lu Opera and other operas, and it was divided into various versions such as Lu Opera, Qu Opera, Yuediao and storytelling. It is about the reign of the Eight Kings Zhao Nian, who was old and childless, and the emperor had no prince, fearing that there would be no successor. According to divination, the Eight Kings had a son who was still in Suzhou and later lived in Suzhou to visit his children. After many twists and turns, their wish came true. It was named Huilong Biography because it is said that Wang Hua later became an emperor.
Zhao Shu, the fifth emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty, is the prototype of Wang Hua.
