Why was it rejected by Ali ·HRG?
Because Ali's HRC review is very strict.

Poor foundation, simple project experience, no thinking, no precipitation, no bright spots, etc. Will be rejected.

In the process of job hunting, the basic examination is conducted on one side, and the interview form is usually "telephone interview". The basic examination goes from shallow to deep. At first, the interviewer will ask some basic technical questions according to the job requirements. Of course, the meaning of the word "foundation" is not simple, and it is easy to hang up without adequate preparation and accumulation. According to my interview experience, more than half of the candidates failed at this stage, and the candidates with particularly poor performance may be recorded as "not solid foundation" by the interviewer. When applying for Ali again, the interviewer will refer to the previous interview records. If there is such a "bad review", the success rate will be very low.

Simplicity and complexity are relative. For Internet companies with billions of users like Ali and Tencent, engineers usually have to face the problems of security, stability and high performance in a large-scale distributed environment with high concurrency and massive requests. In order to deal with these problems, engineers should not only have skilled business R&D skills, but also have the ability of business modeling, architecture design, framework research and development, technical research and so on. These abilities can hardly be obtained by brushing questions, reading books and training, but they need to be constantly studied, practiced, thought and summarized in actual projects before they can be gradually formed. It is for this reason that in the interview, project experience is a must, and the interviewer can evaluate whether you have the ability required for the corresponding position.

No thinking can be said to be the "taboo" of engineers. Internet industry is different from traditional industries. On the one hand, technology changes very rapidly, and the boundaries between technologies in different fields are gradually blurring and merging. Engineers who bury their heads in bricks and don't think will find it difficult to keep up with the rhythm. On the other hand, large Internet companies often face some unprecedented and non-reference problems and scenarios, and can only stand on their own feet.

After a series of project practices, engineers usually form their own set of "methodology" and "best practices"-specifically, when they get a new project, they can outline a general system framework in a short time, and then fill in the details with application scenarios.

The applicant is good in all aspects-good foundation, thinking, precipitation and acceptable project experience, but nothing particularly outstanding, which is the most confusing situation for the interviewer. It will be much easier to pass the interview if the candidate is excellent in all aspects and can shine.
