How does TCM understand the relationship between blood and five internal organs?
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that there is a close relationship between blood and the five internal organs of human body, which is embodied in the generation, operation, storage and control of blood (1). Both blood and painstaking efforts have nutritional effects, pulse is the tunnel of blood circulation, and heart is the driving force of blood circulation. The heart and blood vessels are interrelated, interrelated and cooperate with each other to complete the normal operation of blood together. Blood circulates along blood vessels, so that nutrients in blood are continuously transported to the whole body to meet the needs of physiological activities. Although blood circulation is a common activity of the heart and blood vessels, the heart plays a leading and main role. Neijing says that "the heart governs the body and blood" and "blood belongs to the heart". Blood is the main substance that nourishes the body, and the quality of nutrition directly affects human activities, including heart function. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the functions of heart and blood vessels can be expressed by facial color, so doctors can judge the condition of heart and blood vessels from the color of patients' faces. Neijing says: "The heart is the foundation of life, and the change of God is also on its surface, and its surface is full of blood", and "the combination of heart and pulse is its glory". When normal, the heart is full and the face is ruddy and shiny. If the heart is weak, pale and unpretentious; Heart failure, blood circulation can not be promoted, which will lead to blood stasis, gloomy or blue face; Deficiency of blood means deficiency of heart and blood, deficiency of heart pulse, blood loss during meeting, white and dark, pulse or knot, palpitation and fright. It can be seen that heart, blood and pulse are physically interrelated and inseparable. Pathologically, they interact with each other, and if any of them is abnormal, related diseases may occur. (2) Blood and lung are also closely related. The subtle substances absorbed and transformed by the spleen and stomach of middle energizer need to be "injected into the lung vein to be transformed into blood", indicating that the lung is also involved in the formation of blood. There is a saying in Chinese medicine that "the lung faces a hundred pulses", which means that all blood vessels in the human body will gather in the lung. When blood flows through the lungs, the residual waste will be discharged from the body through the breathing of the lungs, and fresh air will be sucked into the body through the role of the lungs and merged into the blood. It can be seen that the lungs keep the blood fresh by expelling the old and absorbing the new. Driven by clan spirit, fresh blood circulates in the blood vessels, warming the internal organs and limbs. Driven by the "clan spirit", blood circulates endlessly along the blood vessels. Zongqi is the combination of the essence of Shui Gu and absorbing fresh air from nature, which gathers in the chest. Zongqi is the result of the joint action of heart qi and lung qi. Sufficient clan qi can promote heart blood circulation, normal blood circulation and smooth pulse; If the ancestral qi is insufficient, the blood circulation will be weak, the pulse will be weak, and even qi stagnation and blood stasis will occur. (3) blood and liver Chinese medicine believes that the liver stores blood. Bing Wang explained in the Tang Dynasty: "The liver stores blood, and the heart follows it. When people exercise, blood is transported to the meridians, while when people are still, blood belongs to the liver. who is it? The liver governs the blood sea. " This means that the liver has the function of storing blood and regulating blood volume. When the human body is working or emotional, the amount of blood used in various parts of the body increases, and the circulating blood volume will inevitably increase accordingly. At this time, the liver discharges the stored blood for the needs of physical activities; When people are at rest or emotionally stable, their whole body activities decrease, and the blood needed by the body also decreases, and part of the blood is stored in the liver. If the liver is sick and the blood storage function is abnormal, it will not only affect the normal activities of the human body, but also cause blood diseases. If liver blood deficiency (liver-blood deficiency) can't nourish his eyes, his eyes will be dim, dry and night blind; If you can't nourish the muscles, the muscles will be in a hurry and the flexion and extension will be unfavorable; If you can't fill the sea of blood, women will have less menstruation and even amenorrhea; If the liver fails to drain and the liver qi is disordered, the blood accumulation will be unstable, which will easily cause hemorrhagic diseases, such as hematemesis, vomiting blood, epistaxis, menstrual flow or metrorrhagia. The liver governs catharsis and stores blood. The operation of blood depends on the promotion of qi. When the liver function is normal, the qi-moving strip is comfortable, and the blood flowing with the qi is unobstructed. If the excretion is not smooth, liver stagnation and qi stagnation can lead to blood stasis and tingling in the chest and hypochondrium. If the diarrhea is excessive and the qi is out of balance, the blood storage will be unstable, causing bleeding lesions. (4) Blood and Spleen Chinese medicine believes that spleen is the foundation of the day after tomorrow, which can collect grain and absorb qi, and Shui Gu transforms blood subtly. Hematopoiety is most closely related to spleen. Spleen is not only closely related to blood production, but also can control blood. The so-called blood control means that the spleen has the function of controlling the normal operation of blood in blood vessels without overflowing veins. The early medical work "Difficult Classics" in China pointed out: "Spleen wraps blood and warms the five internal organs", which means unified wrapping. The function of regulating blood of spleen depends entirely on the function of temper. In Qing Dynasty, Shen Munan said, "The blood in the internal organs depends entirely on the control of temper." Later, Tang Rongchuan also said: "Blood is dominated by the cloud and spleen, and the movement of blood depends entirely on the spleen. If the spleen is yang-deficient, the blood cannot be unified. " "People always control blood with qi." It can be seen that the operation of blood depends not only on the promotion of heart and the regulation of liver, but also on the control of spleen. In the Ming Dynasty, Wu's On Yin Ji said: "Blood is born in the spleen, so it is said that the spleen governs blood." It shows that the control function of spleen is closely related to the fact that spleen is the source of qi and blood biochemistry. Weak temper, losing the function of controlling blood, making blood overflow outside the pulse, causing all kinds of bleeding. Many medical scientists in the Qing Dynasty wrote books on this issue. Swimming in Beijing said: "Spleen governs blood, and spleen deficiency cannot suck blood;" Spleen turns into blood, but spleen deficiency cannot be transported, so all blood has no owner, so it falls into a trap. " Ding Xia said, "The essence of Shui Gu is exciting. The spleen and stomach are injured, and the ying and Wei are weak, so the blood is abnormal and there is a rash. Zhang Zhicong said, "Some people have bloody stools and vomited blood because they are full, so they can't control their blood because of spleen injury. ".Hemorrhagic syndrome caused by spleen deficiency and uncontrollable blood can be seen clinically. For the treatment of this kind of bleeding syndrome, Li thought in Qing Dynasty: "Therefore, if the blood syndrome has spleen deficiency, the spleen should be supplemented to control its blood", that is, the method of invigorating spleen, supplementing qi and enriching blood should be adopted. (5) Blood-kidney Chinese medicine believes that kidney stores essence, essence produces marrow, and there is marrow blood. At the same time, the vital gate in the kidney is the source of vitality, the foundation of the twelve meridians, the source of biochemistry, and the driving force for warming and promoting blood biochemistry. It can be seen that the kidney is one of the main organs that form blood, so Chinese medicine has the saying that "blood is born in the kidney". The essence of blood can be transformed into kidney essence. For example, Chao's Theory of Etiology in Sui Dynasty said: "Kidney stores essence, and essence is the result of blood. "Tang Rongchuan in the Qing Dynasty said:" Kidney stores essence, essence is the main kidney, and it is integrated with heart blood. "This shows that JingXie homologous, can transform each other. Therefore, it is often necessary to supplement Jingxue in treatment. For example, aplastic anemia, the method of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the kidney can often achieve better blood production effect. Similarly, people who are deficient in kidney essence are given drugs to tonify kidney and products to tonify qi and blood, which is helpful to tonify essence and marrow.
