Sun Lin, a Chinese-American painter, 1963 graduated from the Stage Art Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy, and has been engaged in design and painting teaching for a long time. In 1985, he was specially transferred to Shenzhen TV Station as a designer and presided over the work in the TV drama studio. During 1987, he went to new york, USA, and participated in the group exhibition of new york China painters in Su He Gallery. Usually, his works are often exhibited in China Antique Museum. He has visited more than 30 countries in more than 20 years and absorbed the essence from famous museums and art galleries in various countries. During his long life in new york, he frequented various art galleries and engaged in the research and exploration of oil painting for a long time, constantly innovating and changing, and repeatedly breaking through and denying his own inherent skills and concepts. He found that eastern and western art seemed to be antagonistic, but it was not. Oriental national tradition and western modern art are entangled in mutual enlightenment, complementarity, inheritance and absorption, reaching subtle variation and forming a relatively new style faction.
