Zuo Quan (1905~ 1942), a famous strategist, was a senior commander of the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants and the Eighth Route Army. A native of Liling County, Hunan Province. He was the supreme commander of the Eighth Route Army who died on the anti-Japanese battlefield.
