Brief resume
Teacher Jane began to learn flute at the age of nine, and 1962 graduated from the middle school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music. He studied under Mr. Xie, the former head of Chongqing Song and Dance Troupe, followed by folk musicians Ye Yangxi and Duan Guangyi, and the famous flute player Liu Sen. Because of his love for flute art, he chose to join the National Orchestra of China Radio Art Troupe after graduation. His solo albums "Ode to the Hometown" and "A Brief Collection of Flutes" were widely loved by the public, among which "New Songs of the Herdsmen" became the representative work of flute music at that time and was listed as a repertoire of China Radio Art Troupe. With the advent of a number of songs he wrote or adapted, some new playing techniques also appeared one after another. Some of them are committed to the reform of the instrument itself, making it easy to play semitones and tunes, while others work hard on the original six holes to achieve the same goal through the control of fingers, breathing and tongue. Although the latter method has made great progress in recent years, Mr. Jian Guangyi was one of the first performers to explore this improved method. He made a major breakthrough in flute playing techniques by adapting foreign tracks with strong national style such as Song of a Wanderer. Mr. Jane Guangyi's performance is passionate, natural and unrestrained, and cordial. I compose my own flute, which is especially good at liveliness and popularity. Many pieces of music not only spread widely in previous years, but are still deeply loved by people even now.
