Rooted in the fertile soil of traditional culture, he tried to re-create, integrate and return to the traditional visual experience with modern people's ideas, means and concern and reflection on contemporary China society. It attempts to combine China's traditional aesthetic spirit with the European values of freedom, science, preciseness and aestheticism in humanities and arts, and explore the new national spirit of the times and humanistic character. The moment the knife turned to the wood, it was effortless, relaxed and chic, and inadvertently landscapes such as mountains, rivers, clouds, flowers, architecture and humanities came to the fore, which truly showed the rigidity of the knife's language and the tough quality of wood! I believe that following the trend of the times, exploring hard and persevering, then Peng Wei may become a new world of black and white wood carving!
