Wang Xuming, male, born in August 2006, 1946, was born in Shanghai. Graduated from Tsinghua University Precision Instrument Department, majoring in mechanical manufacturing. Eight years later, he was admitted to department of mechanical engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology to study for a master's degree.

He is currently the Minister of Education.

From 65438 to 0980, he went to study in department of mechanical engineering, new york State University, USA, and successively obtained a master's degree and a doctor's degree in engineering.

1984 returned to China to engage in teaching and scientific research in department of mechanical engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Five years later, he was promoted to professor and doctoral supervisor, and later served as dean, vice president and principal of School of Mechanical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

1998 was elected as the deputy to the Ninth National People's Congress.

1999 12 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering.
