1932 1 Take part in the revolutionary work and join China. 1934 participated in and led the "December 9th" student movement of Zhongshan Middle School in Beiping. After the "July 7th Incident", according to the arrangement of the Party organization, he served as deputy secretary and acting secretary of the underground party working committee of the 10th Corps of the Kuomintang Army in the Northeast Army. From June, 65438 to June, 0939, he worked in Shandong Branch, and successively served as the chief of the organization department of the social department of Shandong Branch, the minister of the social department of Jiaodong District Committee of the Communist Party of China and the minister of urban industry, the secretary of the Northeast Working Committee of the District Committee, the district attorney general and the director of the district public security bureau. 1In August, 945, he served as deputy commander of Northeast People's Autonomous Army. In September, he went to Changchun as deputy political commissar of the Jihe Military Region. Later, he served as political commissar of the independent regiment of Jilin-Heilongjiang column of Northeast Democratic Coalition, minister of social affairs of Jilin-Liaoning Provincial Committee and director of public security department, director of public security bureau of Changchun Special City and director of public security department of Jilin Province. After the founding of New China, Comrade Yu Ke successively served as member of the Standing Committee of Jilin Provincial Committee, vice chairman of provincial people's government, director of public security department, executive vice governor and deputy secretary of provincial party committee. After the downfall of the Gang of Four, he successively served as Deputy Secretary of Jilin Provincial Party Committee, Governor (80.04-82.06), Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Provincial People's Congress (83.04-85.06). 1June 1985, Comrade Yu Ke resigned as the director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, 1990 left his post to rest.

Comrade Yu Ke is a representative of the eighth, twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth National Congresses of the Party, a representative of the fifth and sixth National Congresses, and a special representative of the second session of the first China People's Political Consultative Conference.

He died in Beijing on June 20th, 2004 at the age of 9 1.
