Brief introduction of Guilin University of Technology:

National college students' cultural quality education base, national new engineering research and practice project, national first-class undergraduate specialty construction site, national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, founding member of China University Planetary Science Alliance, with recommended postgraduate qualification, one of the universities undertaken by the National "863 Plan" and "973 Plan", and a first-class discipline construction university in Guangxi.

It is a multi-disciplinary teaching and research university focusing on engineering, science, management, literature, economics, law, arts and agriculture. It originated from 1956 Guilin Geological School, which was founded by the former Ministry of Heavy Industry in Guangxi, and experienced the development process of five changes in its owner and ten changes in its name. Among them, the school was renamed Guilin Institute of Metallurgical Geology on 1978 and started undergraduate education.

As of June 5438+ 10, 2023, the school has four campuses, namely Feng Ping, Yanshan, Anji and Nanning Airport, with a total campus area of more than 3,300 mu. There are 19 secondary teaching units, 82 undergraduate majors and 50 higher vocational colleges.
