Songshan, named after Gu Song in the North Mountain, is called Miha Mountain in Tibetan. Songshan Town is located at the southern foot of Mao Mao in the east of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County. Jingtai County in the east, Yongdeng County in the south, Huazang Temple Town in the west, Dongtan Township in the northwest and Gulang County in the north, with an area of 7 1 1.3 square kilometers. East China (Huazang Temple-Dongdatan) Highway and Tianjing (Tianzhu-Jingtai) Highway pass through the territory. It is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with gentle terrain, and most of it is located in Songshan Basin. The climate is dry and windy in the county. The altitude is between 2610 and 3565 meters, the annual average temperature is 1℃, the annual average precipitation is 270 mm, and the relative frost-free period is 127 days. The grassland covers an area of 932,400 mu, with excellent grass quality, but the grassland is sandy and the vegetation is sparse. The main livestock breeds are yak, horse and fine-wool sheep.
