Born in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, 1968, a famous erhu player in China, a member of China Musicians Association, and a director of the Erhu Society of China Music Association. At the age of four, he studied erhu with the father of Chen Yaoxing, a famous erhu master. Later, he studied the theory of performance and creation of huqin in the Composition Department of Central Conservatory of Music, the Folk Music Department of China Social Conservatory of Music and the Military Arts Department. 1982 won the third prize in the National Youth Instrumental Music Competition, 1983 won the second prize in the Beijing Youth Erhu Competition, and 1989 won the first place in the Erhu Group of the First National Instrumental Music "Shancheng Cup" TV Grand Prix. Chen Jun has visited the United States, Japan, Russia, Germany, France, Hungary, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong and other more than ten countries and regions for performances. He has been highly praised by people in the international music industry, claiming that his performance is very masterful and he is the most outstanding erhu player in contemporary China. 1in the summer of 997, his performance with Hong Kong Lille National Orchestra was even more amazing, which not only made the audience awe, but also made French musicians praise his exquisite performance, comparable to the violin master Paganini, thus winning the reputation of "Paganini who plays the huqin".
