Generally speaking, it seems that you have been transferred to a position similar to sales, because some positions in good companies are more concerned by everyone, and sales are often ignored. Ask again at the interview. If he asks you, tell him which two positions you voted for. Many companies have had such problems. Just tell him the truth.

Who read your resume? That record has nothing to do with the company you submitted your resume to. It's not that the company takes the initiative to look for you, and of course it won't take the initiative to read your resume, but it's normal to read it after receiving it.
