Chenqiyuan Memorial Hall Exhibition Hall Zone
The memorial hall is divided into two parts. The first part is the exhibition hall, which displays the model of steam reeling machine designed and manufactured by Chen Qiyuan, Chen Qiyuan's measuring compass memorial hall, the manuscripts of three works written by Chen, such as Silkworm Spectrum, Chen Qiyuan's Arithmetic, and Regulating Qi and Plastic Source, as well as a number of historical materials and pictures such as Chen Qiyuan's charcoal portraits and his personal experiences in Nanhai County Records during the Republic of China. The other part is the sericulture garden. At the entrance of the garden, there is a couplet inscribed by Chen Qiyuan's great-grandson Yao, "Sang Weirong, the hometown of sericulture". Mulberry trees are planted in the courtyard of the sericulture garden, and several plaques of silkworms and cocoons are hung in several huts, which makes people deeply feel the joy of rural life and farmers.
