Brief introduction of Weinstein Lai
Gerald Weinstein was born into a merchant family in Lancashire. He studied business in his early years and bought and sold cloth in London. 1At the beginning of the civil war in the 1940s, he opened a small shop in central London and went bankrupt due to the economic crisis caused by the civil war. Later, he moved to Selly County near London and lived by herding cattle and sheep for others. 1649 10, Weinstein published The New Theory of Justice, and put forward the idea of using land together and sharing land fruits on the basis of public ownership of land. In order to realize this ideal, 1649, in April, he led a group of poor farmers to reclaim wasteland in St. George's Hill, Seli County. This is the famous excavation movement in British history. As the leader of the poaching movement, Weinstein's main works are: The New Law of Justice (1649), The Declaration of the Oppressed Poor in England (1649) and The Law of Freedom (165 1).
