Zhang Zhenduo (1908.9— 1989.4), formerly known as Ding Sheng, was born in Pujiang. Influenced by family since childhood, I am studious and thoughtful, and I am determined to learn Chinese painting.

1927 graduated from Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts.

1932 formed the White Society Painting Association with Pan Tianshou. He used to be a professor at Shanghai Xinhua Art College, Kunming Art College and Southwest Art College, a professor, dean and vice president of National Art College, Hubei Art College and Hubei Fine Arts College, a vice chairman and consultant of Hubei Branch of China Artists Association, a member of All-China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a member of the 4th and 5th Central Committee of China Association for Promoting Democracy, a senator, a representative of the 3rd and 4th National People's Congress of Hubei Province, and a member of the 4th, 5th and 6th CPPCC Standing Committee.

1980 Hubei TV Station and CCTV recorded and broadcasted the feature film "Be loyal to your art, you don't know your age-Professor Zhang Zhenduo's painting".
