A brief introduction of the queen mother and me
From 19 13 to 1922, Bacchus donated a large number of precious China printed books and some scrolls and manuscripts to Baudrais Ann Library of Oxford University.

Bacchus died in Beijing on June 1944+0. One year before he received his doctorate, he completed his autobiography, D & ampEacuteCADENCE MANDCHOUE, in which Bacchus recorded his life in China in the late Qing Dynasty in the form of memoirs. Behind Bacchus, the manuscripts of the Queen Mother and I were handed over to the Bodolan Library of Oxford University by her friend Dr. R Hepley, and have been preserved to this day. The publication of this book is the first time in 68 years that the manuscript has been sealed.

Bacchus claimed that in his life, he not only met many famous literary and political figures, but also shared his bed with them. He described his sexual intercourse with many celebrities, including Oscar Wilde, paul verlaine and the Prime Minister of Salisbury. Almost all the ambiguous relationships he disclosed are homosexual, except one person disclosed in this book, who is a rock-breaking figure: Empress Dowager Cixi, the autocratic ruler of China.
