Jinjiang originates from Fan Jingshan, flows through the estuary and crosses the whole territory of tongren city from west to east. The upper reaches of Jinjiang River meet in tongren city, dividing the city into three parts, which form an S-shape around the city to Dongting and join the Yangtze River. On both sides of the river, there are many strange peaks, green cliffs, blue waves and green mountains. There are also rich natural landscapes, unique cultural landscapes, precious cultural relics and historic sites, pavilions carved with beams and painted buildings, etc. Just like the jewels embedded on both sides of Jinjiang, it forms a ten-mile Jinjiang Gallery, with clear water and hibiscus, which is naturally carved. Liao, a poet who has traveled to Tongren, once wrote a quatrain saying that new clothes are the most romantic and affectionate, and he is unwilling to look back.

Jinjiang river bed is 150- 180m wide and 10-30m deep, with a navigable mileage of 58km, of which: the voyage of over 50 tons is 3 1km, and the voyage of 10t is about 18km.

Shili Jinjiang Scenic Area mainly includes Wuling Little Suzhou, Twelve Scenes of Jinjiang, Jinjiang Park, Crystal Pavilion and other scenic spots, which are introduced as follows:

1, Wuling Little Suzhou

Tongren city is a mountainous city with plenty of water, and the whole city is interdependent and integrated with water and mountains. Three rivers (Dajiang, Xiaojiang and Jinjiang) cross the city by mistake, dividing the city into several natural areas. There are more than ten bridges in the urban area, such as Xintan Bridge, Qingshui Bridge, Huaguoshan Bridge, Wayaohe Bashang Bridge, Ximen Bridge, Xingshi Bridge, Luyuyan Bridge, Dajiangping Bridge, Jinjiang Bridge, Xiananmen Suspension Bridge and Dongmen Bridge, which have extraordinary momentum and different styles. Under the bridge, the river is rippling, the banks of Jinjiang River are shaded by trees, and fishing boats are scattered all over the river. It is a veritable water city and bridge city, which has both the graceful appearance of Suzhou, a famous city, and the style characteristics of Tongren, a mountain city.

2. Twelve Scenes in Jinjiang

(1) playing with gold scales. Located 500 meters south of the city, standing by the river, there is a rock at the intersection of Mushahe River, which looks like a carp and is praised by the ancients as a golden scale swimming. There is a ravine under the rock, and one of the stones stands out like a carp head, especially the lips, eyes and gills, which are lifelike, so it is also called carp mouth.

② Nanyue flies completely. Located 4 kilometers north of the city, it goes up against the Xiaojiang River, two mountains stand side by side, and the water falls into the stream, if the Jade Dragon falls from the sky.

(3) Spring scenery of the two rivers. In the upper reaches of Jinjiang River, at the beginning of the flood season, on both sides of the river, peaches and plums are in full bloom, willows are green, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant, and people are eager to try, showing a vibrant double-color picture.

(4) the mainstay. At the intersection of large and small rivers in the south of the city, there are huge stones standing in the middle of the river, on which pavilions have been built many times, commonly known as bronze stones, also known as mainstay.

(5) Dongshan Pavilion. There stands a mountain on the river east of the city, which is steep and rugged. The river is rushing under the cliff, and the cliff trees are full of stones, green and tall. In the depths of the ancient forest, there are Wenchang Pavilion, Kuixing Tower, Chengjiang Tower, Chuanshang Pavilion, Wuhou Temple and Temple of Heaven. Today, we still wear the Pavilion, Leigong Temple and Zhenwutang.

(6) Clouds and rivers. There is a river to the south of Dongshan Mountain. The clouds between cliffs and the surging sound of Jiang Tao at the foot of the mountain constitute a beautiful scenery. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the word "sea of clouds" was engraved on the cliff. In the 13th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1874), Yuan, the magistrate, wrote a supplementary book and reprinted it. Every word is one meter square, with charming handwriting and spectacular momentum.

(7) write lingyun. Dongshan and Hexi are separated by Wenbi Peak, which is high in the clouds and beautiful as a pen. The rising sun shines with rosy clouds, such as colorful brocade and giant pens. In the 16th year of Guangxu reign (A.D. 1890), Lingyun Tower was built in Zhengren Peak in the west of the city.

Jathyapple. Down the river, down to Tianyi Peak and Taiyi Peak, the river becomes a beach, which is Yuliangtan. Here, on a clear night, sparkling, the sound of the river, fishing boats shuttle, it is very lonely, it has artistic conception of moonlight in its pine forest and stone crystals in its stream.

(9) The stone is facing the sky. A mountain peak stands on the river 2 kilometers east of the city, looking like an ancient official holding a water pole to worship; Also known as Cao Guojiu, one of the legendary Eight Immortals, holds water in his left hand.

(10) Blue Light Road East. Lujiadong, 4 kilometers east of Jinjiang.

4. Crystal Pavilion Scenic Area. Located at the foot of Taiyi Peak in the east of the city, on the east bank of Jinjiang, surrounded by water on three sides, the peninsula is towering with cypresses and trees. European-style buildings, pavilions and forests; Flowers and trees, fragrant; The clear water on the river reflects green, and the fishing boat is like a shuttle, just like a flowing landscape.
