Otto Karius was born on May 27th, 1922, and in May, 1940, Karius volunteered to join the Bundeswehr 104 Reserve Infantry Battalion. After completing a series of military training, he was sent to the 2nd1regiment of the 20th armored division to work as a tank loader on a PZPW38 (T) light tank.
194 1 On June 22nd, 2008, he took part in the "Barbarosa Action" to attack the Soviet Union as a loader of Czech PzKpfw 38(t) light tank.
1April, 943, he became the commander of the Tiger heavy tank and served in the 2nd Brigade of the 502nd Heavy Armored Battalion.
1On July 20th, 944, Eight Tigers destroyed more than 60 Soviet tanks in the village of Malinovo in the Baltic War Zone.
