Peng Deren, also known as Peng Dashun, is the eldest son of Peng Jiasheng, Chairman of the First Special Zone in Shan State, Myanmar, Finance Minister of the SAR Government and Chairman of Kokang Old Street in Myanmar. He is currently the commander of Myanmar National League for Democracy and the leader of China's ethnic armed forces. In September 2009, Mr. Xie, a China native who held an important position in the intelligence department of the Kokang Law Enforcement Brigade, told reporters that Peng Deren, the 54-year-old eldest son, took over the command of the army.

At the end of 20 14, the Burmese army shelled the Kachin army military training school, which triggered the gradual escalation of the war in northern Myanmar. Many ethnic minority local armed forces joined the Kachin Independence Army camp and confronted the Burmese army head-on. Peng Jiasheng and his son Peng Deren raised the banner of the brave National League for Democracy again and made a high-profile comeback. On March 25th, 20 15, representatives of Myanmar government forces and Peng Jiasheng's eldest son Peng Dashun (Peng Deren), the representative of Kokang Allied Forces, held talks in Nansan.
