Whenever reading the Book of Songs, people will naturally think of the contribution of Scapharca subcrenata in spreading the Book of Songs among the rivers in the ancient city of Cangzhou. Mao Gong, Han Confucianism, Fang Zhouzi also. King Liu Dezunru of Hejian Prefecture (now Hebei Province) set up a "Gentleman Pavilion" (now hejian city Junziting Village) in the northern part of Hejian Prefecture to attract scholars from all over the world and conduct academic research. Scapharca subcrenata is one of them. Inherited from his family, Li Mao not only recited his poems, but also explained their meanings. He studied the Book of Songs and was favored by King Liu, making him a doctor. Since then, Li Mao has given lectures and handed down scriptures in Scholar's Academy, Shijing Village and Sanlipu in Hejian, and passed on his disciples (hence the name of Scholar's Academy Village in Shijing Village). At that time, there were four schools that talked about the Book of Songs: Lu, Qi, Han and Mao. The contents of the first three schools were wrong, so Lu's poems died in the Western Jin Dynasty and Qi's poems died in Wei. No one passed on Korean poetry, and three schools abolished it. Only Mao's poems are "the best" and are honored as "works with six meanings", which have been spread all over the world and have a great influence on literary creation in past dynasties, and are known as the source of poems. In order to commemorate this poet, later generations built Mao Gong Temple and Mao Gong Academy in Sanlipu, where Mao Gong was buried. According to records, in 1932, Maogong Temple and Maogong Academy were still well preserved. At that time, a caring person took a picture of Maogong Academy with a camera, and now this picture is collected in the Cultural Relics Research Office of Tianjin Library. This photo with high historical value can let people see the style of Maogong Temple in those days. 1937 After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Maogong Academy and Maogong Temple were severely damaged by the Japanese invaders, and the ruins did not exist until the 1970s. He Wen, as the spreading place of the Book of Songs, was still talked about by people in Sanlipu, Scholar's Academy and Shijing Village during the Cultural Revolution, although the Book of Songs of Mao Gong Temple and several local cadres were completely destroyed, which was not only well known to women and children, but also admired and admired.
The Book of Songs is China's first collection of poems. Because of its rich content and high ideological and artistic achievements, it occupies an important position in the cultural history of China and even the world. It initiated the excellent tradition of China's poetry and exerted an indelible influence on later literature, which can be described as the glorious starting point of China literature. However, in the era of Qin Shihuang's "burning books to bury Confucianism", many Confucian classics, including The Book of Songs, were burned. However, the Book of Songs is easy to remember and familiar to scholars, so it spread in the Han Dynasty. In the early Han Dynasty, there were four schools that taught the Book of Songs, namely Qi Zhiyuan's drums, Lu Pei, Yan and Zhao Zhimao's harmony, which were collectively called Qi Shi, Lu Shi and He (the first two were named after the country, while the last two were named after the family). The Confucian classics of Qi, Lu and Han are all officially recognized schools. Mao's poems belong to Confucian classics and are regarded as Confucian classics. They were originally called The Book of Songs, and they have been used ever since. However, after the Eastern Han Dynasty, Mao's poems became increasingly prosperous and gained official recognition. The first three schools gradually declined, and in the Southern Song Dynasty, they were completely lost. The Book of Songs we see today has been handed down by Hejian Shi Mao School. As a result, Hejian has been known as the "birthplace of the Book of Songs" since ancient times. In fact, it is also the veritable birthplace of China literature.
