Research fields and contributions
Xiao Huajun initiated the research on the applied physiology of molecular sieve oxygen supply system on a new generation of fighter planes in China, and creatively put forward the theory of physiological equivalent effect of molecular sieve oxygen supply at high altitude, which laid a solid theoretical foundation for the research and development of airborne molecular sieves in China. In the past 30 years, he has presided over the design, finalization and physiological identification of all series of oxygen protection equipment systems in China 14, and has been responsible for more than 30 major engineering projects.
It provides an important physiological basis for the development, installation and application of various aircraft oxygen supply and personal protective equipment in China. It has played a key technical support role in solving the high-altitude airdrop support technology and recovery test of the return capsule of China's Shenzhou series manned spacecraft.
