Du Jun, 1960 was born in Beijing and graduated from the Fine Arts Department of China People's Liberation Army Art College. He used to be an artist in the Political Department of the Air Force. At present, he is a director of China Artists Association, a member of Chinese Painting Art Committee of Beijing Artists Association, vice chairman of Central directly under the authority Calligraphy and Painting Association, vice president of China Landscape Painting Creation Institute and director of exhibition department of China Artists Association. He is currently the Deputy Secretary-General of China Artists Association and a national first-class artist.

He is good at drawing tigers, as well as landscapes, people and artistic styles. He pursues boldness, wildness and broadness, and his works have participated in many national and military art exhibitions and won awards. His main works are: Pastoral Pastoral was selected for the 8th National Art Exhibition; "Two Lakes" won the Ding Shaoguang Prize and the National Art Exhibition Silver Award; "Mind-adjusting Map" was selected for the 97 National China People's Exhibition; The Picture of Two Heroes was selected for the National Art Exhibition to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. "Long Whistling Map" was selected as 300 Chinese paintings; "Children's Music Looking Back" won the Excellence Award in the Ninth National Art Exhibition and went to Japan, Macau and South Korea for exhibitions; "Childhood" won the second National China Art Exhibition Excellence Award; "Family Happiness" won the Bronze Award in the National Contemporary Flower and Bird Painting Art Exhibition. The work Aiko was presented as a national gift to South Korean President Kim Dae-jung. His works have been published in major periodicals and newspapers all over the country for many times, including Du Jun's Collection of Tiger Painting, Tiger Painting Techniques and Du Jun, a famous contemporary painter in China.
