In the eighteenth year of Shunzhi, the emperor shunzhi, who was only 24 years old, contracted smallpox and died soon. As Shunzhi was still young at this time, Chu Jun's position had not been established when he was seriously ill. At this time, the governors were all young, the eldest son died, and the favorite second son, Fuquan, was only nine years old. I didn't think about him when he was young and regent. Emperor Kangxi, who succeeded to the throne later, was only eight years old at this time, not to mention being considered. Emperor Shunzhi reasoned that the country depended on Chang Jun, so he planned to pass the throne to his cousin Wang Qin Yue Le.

Aisingiorro Yue Le (1625- 1689), the grandson of Nurhachi, the fourth son of Abatai, the king of Raoyumin County, is the cousin of the emperor shunzhi. Therefore, the emperor shunzhi's move was strongly opposed by his biological mother, sourdrang dowager. Sourdrang dowager thinks that although Yue Le is the grandson of Nurhachi and is related to the emperor shunzhi, he is not orthodox to Huang Taiji. After all, he is a collateral clan, and the transfer of emperor system may face more complicated problems than the young emperor coming to Korea, so he strongly opposes it.

But sourdrang dowager didn't change his mind about Shunzhi. It was a foreigner, German missionary Tang Ruowang, who changed his mind about Shunzhi. After the reign of Emperor Shunzhi in the eighth year of Qing Dynasty, Tang Ruowang often went in and out of the imperial court and made many suggestions on the gains and losses of the imperial court. He has written more than 300 letters, which is highly valued by the emperor shunzhi.

On his deathbed, the emperor shunzhi asked his advice on the issue of heir. Tang Ruowang also believes that the transfer of imperial clan will lead to a new crisis, which is more serious than the young master's coming to Korea. So I urge the emperor shunzhi to pass on the throne to his prince. At the same time, he also threw a killer. He told the emperor shunzhi what would happen if smallpox prevailed, so he said that he must find a prince who had smallpox to inherit the throne. It happened that the third son, Michelle Ye, later Emperor Kangxi, met this requirement.

Later, Emperor Kangxi also made a legend. He ascended the throne at the age of 8, came to power at the age of 14, and reigned for 6 1 year, creating a prosperous time for Kanggan.
