The senior year started last semester, and all the students around me chose to take the postgraduate entrance examination. Only three people in our class decided to look for a job, and I felt a little depressed at first, feeling that I had no atmosphere, and it was a bit lonely to look for a job alone. Just then, McKinsey, a well-known consulting company, came to our school to give a campus lecture. During this period, Mr. Zhang from McKinsey made a very pertinent analysis of whether college students should work first or take the postgraduate entrance examination first. He thinks that the postgraduate entrance examination is a regulator of life and can only be used once, so it is precious. When we haven't found out what we are suitable for and what we are really interested in, we should take advantage of our youth to find the answer to the question, feel the necessity of further study in our own work, and then choose to go to graduate school, so as to really learn something. And I think I'm at a stage where I'm confused about the future. What I get from following the trend of postgraduate entrance examination may be beautiful, but it is by no means what I pursue. My belief strengthened my determination to find a job as an undergraduate, so I began to write resumes, submit resumes on major job-seeking websites in Shanghai, collect information on job-seeking forums, and find classmates to buy suits on bbs. Busy for half a month, I prepared a lot of materials needed to find a job, waiting for the arrival of a large campus job fair.

Soon, the campus job fairs of major enterprises followed. At that time, the school had at least seven or eight job fairs every day. I tried and voted one by one. Finally, after investing in more than a dozen companies, I received my first written notice, Tencent. Because I voted for a non-technical position, I have no idea. Before the written test, I read the written test questions of the company in previous years online and went to the examination room. It turns out that the written test questions are similar to those of civil servants. I have no experience in this field at all, so I can only improvise. Fortunately, I finally got the interview notice. Hehe, being a virgin is very exciting and a little nervous.
The interview is in the afternoon, one-on-one interview. I walked in and introduced myself a little nervously. I was caught by the examiner and kept asking me questions. Finally, I couldn't stand it. The examiner smiled and said directly, "Next." The first interview in my life ended in such a hurry. The next days are even more difficult. Many resumes are thrown into the sea, and even a written test is rarely received.
The cruelty of reality made me re-examine myself: I didn't get a scholarship in college, I didn't hold a position in the class, I didn't participate in a science and technology competition, my academic performance was moderate, and I failed several courses. This performance is not brilliant. I've been thinking about three and a half years in college, and I have something to show others, so I've carefully flipped through the bits and pieces of college life in my mind. I found that I have a lot of part-time experience. Although the time is not long, I definitely learned something. At the same time, although I didn't join the club, I had the experience of volunteering twice. I am very practical in my work and dare to take on difficulties. I feel that these qualities are suitable for social development and meet the standards for selecting talents in modern enterprises.

None of these companies went.
Come to school early after the winter vacation and continue to look for a job. Fortunately, I happened to meet Lenovo to make up for it, and my resume soon got a reply.
On the one hand, I accepted an interview with the head of the human resources department. Because I interviewed many companies before and accumulated a lot of experience, I passed all the questions asked by HR easily.
I was interviewed by four people, two managers in the marketing department and two supervisors in the human resources department. I met several leaders for the first time and interviewed a job seeker at the same time. I felt a little guilty when I first entered, but after introducing myself, my heart calmed down. Two managers took my resume and began to ask questions such as what you did in college. What subjects are you interested in at university? Why? I answered easy questions, such as what did you do in xx activity, and they were very satisfied with my answer. Suddenly a manager changed the subject and asked me how many elevators there were in the office building. Fortunately, being careful is also one of my strengths. I counted the elevators before going upstairs, so this problem didn't bother me. The whole interview took about 40 minutes. I smiled and walked out of the meeting room, waiting for the final notice.
Four days later, I finally received the final notice. The last way is very special. I went to SEG Computer City to do a Lenovo storefront research report, and the deadline was one week. I was secretly happy when I got this topic, because I also encountered similar problems when I was on the second side of ASUS, and I was quite sure. In the next few days, I went to SEG Computer City for a field trip every day and got a wealth of information. Later, in the end, I finally got Lenovo's OFFER because I was very well prepared.
I really had a hard time getting Lenovo's offer. When I was ready to sign the contract, I asked my next family for advice. Family members have always felt that their personality is not suitable for marketing work. It's not worth giving up their professional advantages, so I asked my next teacher for advice. While I was hesitating, PetroChina Western Pipeline Company came to the school to give a lecture. Although I didn't catch up with the job fair at that time, I learned from the students who came back from the lecture that this is a promising enterprise, so I rushed over after receiving the interview notice.
Mr. Song who interviewed me is very kind, unlike some people in state-owned enterprises, who are aloof and indifferent. He gave me a detailed introduction to the nature and content of his work there, and I also felt that this enterprise had great prospects in his conversation. At the same time, I feel that although the company is located in Xinjiang, there are many inconveniences, but the company has good development prospects, good treatment and relatively relaxed working atmosphere. In this relaxed environment, I can have time to think about problems and do things I am interested in, which are very attractive to me and suit my personality. Finally, after comparing Lenovo with PetroChina's western pipeline, I decided to go to PetroChina's western pipeline, which is more suitable for my own development.

1. I think the process of finding a job is the process of deeply analyzing yourself. The deeper you know yourself, the more you can find a job that suits you and give yourself a life plan. A good job may not be suitable for you. If you are not a Daniel, you should still look for the corresponding job and post according to your own personality and ability;
2. The soldiers and horses did not move, and the food and grass went first. From June 10 to June 1 10, the job fairs in the employment center will be full tomorrow, so if you prepare your resume, interview and written test at that time, you will be a little negligent. No matter whether you do technical or non-technical work in the future, you must make good use of September, get familiar with professional knowledge, understand workplace etiquette and practice oral English. In this way, you can take your time in the next massive interview written test.
In the process of finding a job, grades are very important, but they are not decisive, otherwise we students who fail the course will be finished. In fact, some companies don't pay special attention to your grades (when I interviewed Lenovo, people didn't read my report card), but pay more attention to your attitude towards this company. For the subjects you failed, you should tell the real reasons for failing, show your attitude towards learning and show that you are very motivated. God forgives young people when they make mistakes.
