(1) I suggest you go to ELP in New Brunswick, where English is mandatory for 24 hours, so it is very effective. When I was in high school, I only stayed there for five weeks, and then I could start communicating with others. The email seems to be elp@unb.ca, but I suggest you check it online. The English Language Program (University of New Brunswick) is run by the University of New Brunswick. It's really good.
(2) The eastern region 1 semester is about 5000. You must study at a local university for 1 year before you can take a part-time job outside the school. But many people in China are doing illegal jobs, and the wages are relatively low, but it is feasible.
(3) I suggest you search for model essays online.
(4) I personally handled it at that time. I suggest you go to the website of the Canadian Embassy in China to find out.
1 year is estimated to be 1.5 ~ 0.2 million, but this is the budget for a good life.
I hope these are helpful to you:)
