Shigong Opera in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is mainly distributed in northern, central and southern Guangxi, especially in Hechi, Liuzhou, Nanning and Baise. Guangxi Shigong Opera is classified by nationality, language, musical singing and popular areas. As far as the nation is concerned, it can be divided into Zhuang drama, Miao drama and Yao drama, Maonan drama and Mulao drama. Linguistically, there are mainly differences in Pinghua, Zhuang, Miao, Yao, Maonan and Mulao languages. Gong Xi in Pinghua is sung in Pinghua. It is said that the ancestors of Guangxi people who spoke Pinghua originated in Baimayuan, Yidu County, Qingzhou, Shandong Province, and later stayed in Guangxi with the Pingnan Army of Di Qing in the Song Dynasty. (Of course, some linguists believe that Pinghua is not the special language of Pingnan Army, but a "civilian dialect" of Han nationality. Guangxi Pinghua can be roughly divided into "Nanping dialect in Guangxi" and "Beiping dialect in Guangxi". Nanping dialect in Guangxi is mainly used in Binyang, Yongning, Hengxian, Guigang, Shanglin, Mashan and other counties and the suburbs of Nanning, as well as some market towns and villages in the Zuoyou River basin. Guangxi Beiping dialect is mainly used in the suburbs of Guilin, market towns and villages in Lingui, Lingchuan, Yongfu, Longsheng, Fuchuan, Zhongshan, Hexian, Rongan, Rongshui, Luocheng, Liujiang and Liucheng. These Pinghua are much the same, mainly because of their different pronunciations. Putonghua has been popularized in places where people often speak "Pinghua", and the population mobility has increased. Even in places where Pinghua used to be spoken, many people no longer use Pinghua. Pinghua Shigong Opera originated in Qing Dynasty. During the performance, it wore a wooden mask, mysterious clothes and cows, and used the sword, cup and dish of martial arts as props. There are four types of business: life, courage, purity and ugliness, mainly clowns. With fewer and fewer people who can speak Pinghua, maybe in the near future, Pinghua Shigong Opera will become a "swan song". The official drama of Zhuang language is called "poetic drama", "singing poetry", "strengthening teachers" and "adjusting teachers" in Zhuang places. Mainly distributed in Hechi, Yishan, Laibin, Guixian, Shanglin, Wuming and Yongning. It is a kind of folk opera developed on the basis of the teacher's singing and dancing (wizard jumping). The dance of Shigong Opera itself is an action to entertain the gods. Shi Gong is a sorcerer, singing and dancing to entertain the gods, which is called Nuo. At first, Shi Gong wore a red dress and a wooden mask when performing, but later he used paper paintings instead. It took 19 1 1 year to take off the mask and start making up. Zhuang language teacher drama is still very popular in Zhuang areas, but it is rare in other places. Zhuang people's teacher drama, also known as "Zuo Zhai", is based on Zhuang folk music and Qupai, with percussion instruments such as gongs, drums, cymbals and wooden fish. The drama of Zhuang language is narrative and singing, with little dialogue, mainly singing and dancing, and no fixed performance form.
The palace drama of the strong men widely absorbs folk stories and legends circulated by the Zhuang people, enriching the performance content. There are lyrics, songs and dances in the play, which have taken shape. At first, Shi Gong put on a mask during his performance, in order to make an image of God and drive away ghosts and diseases from the world. With the increase of performances and the change of the proportion of "people and gods", facial makeup has gradually been replaced, and Shigong Opera has evolved into a kind of drama-Shi Zhuang Opera, which has become a parallel body of Zhuang art together with Zhuang Opera.
