Zhang Liugou 1985 joined the police, and was promoted and appointed as the deputy director of Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau on February 20 12. Prior to this, he served as the main leader in the public security departments of Dantu, Danyang and Yangzhong under Zhenjiang. The reporter noted that among the members of the leadership team announced by official website of Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau, Zhang Liugou is no longer listed. On the afternoon of February 6th, 20 13, Zhenjiang Intermediate People's Court publicly pronounced the case of Zhang Liugou, former deputy director of Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau, accepting bribes and the source of huge amount of property was unknown. Zhang Liugou was found guilty of accepting bribes, sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment and confiscated property of RMB800,000. He was sentenced to three years in prison for committing the crime of huge amounts of property with unknown sources; Decided to execute fixed-term imprisonment of 14 years and confiscate property of 800,000 yuan. The proceeds from bribery crimes, illegal gains and unidentified property shall be recovered and turned over to the state treasury.
