It is said that Gangrinpoche was originally the sacred mountain of Boni. Later, Buddhist master Millary Ba and Bognis Turner Ruben fought here. As a result, the Buddha won the battle and the holy mountain changed hands.
For centuries, Gangrinpoche has been a place for pilgrims and explorers, but so far no one has been able to climb this sacred mountain, and perhaps no one dares to offend this "center of the world".
