The Jinshui Bridge in the Forbidden City is introduced in detail.
Jinshui Bridge is divided into outer Jinshui Bridge and inner Jinshui Bridge. Neijinshui Bridge is located on the Jinshui River in the square in front of Taihe Gate of the Forbidden City. It is five parallel single-hole arch-connected white marble bridges. The three-hole arch-coupon Bai Han Jade Bridge across Waijinshui in front of Tiananmen Square was rebuilt in the 29th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi.

The blueprint of Jinshui Bridge comes from Qiao Zhou, the imperial city of Yuan Dynasty. The designer and builder of Qiao Zhou is an ordinary stonemason-Yang Qiong in Quyang, Hebei Province in Yuan Dynasty. Quyang is rich in jade, and its stone carving skills have been famous all over the world since the Tang and Song Dynasties.

Extended data:

Waijinshui Bridge in front of Tiananmen Square, Ancestral Temple and Zhongshan Park. There are seven three-hole arches, with Tiananmen Square in the south and Tiananmen Gate in the north. The bridge fence is beautifully carved and shaped like a jade belt. Together with quaint China watches and majestic stone lions, it forms the magnificent scenery in front of Tiananmen Square.

The five stone bridges with unique shapes and exquisite carvings in the middle correspond to the five openings of Tiananmen Gate. The south of the bridge (including the bridge) is 62 meters away from Chengmendong, and the distance between bridges is 5 meters. The bridge has a slight slope, with an arch surface in the middle, a narrow middle and wide ends, and an I-shape. This changeable and tortuous line, like "Changhong of Nie Yuqiao", adds luster to Tiananmen Square.
